BIO
I teach and create at the fertile boundary between art and science. My museum exhibit designs begin with a scientific spectacle which I rework to create a safe, robust and interactive experience.
My teaching focuses on igniting student curiosity because curiosity is the only authentic motivation for learning. My project based lessons engage students with creative ownership and hands-on problem solving. I have over 10 years of experience in college and secondary school classrooms teaching physics, art, electronics and shop classes. I have my M.S. in "Science Education and Michigan's highest Professional Level Teaching Certification in physics and math.
