There's still a few spaces left on this two-year taught masters programme at Trinity College, Dublin. We're particularly looking for students with a creative/arts background. The creative possibilities are excellent.

In the ubiquitous computing vision, interconnected computers are embedded unobtrusively in everyday appliances and environments and co-operate to provide information and services on behalf of their human users. This emerging field is likely to drive the deployment of the next generation of Information Technology and has been an active research area at Trinity College Dublin in recent years.

Based on this experience, the Department of Computer Science at Trinity College Dublin, presents a new two-year full-time taught M.Sc. in Ubiquitous Computing. This will be the first postgraduate course in Ubiquitous Computing in Ireland and will include interdisciplinary courses in both platform development and content delivery. The programme will commence each year in October.

Taught courses will include: Communications Technologies including Wireless Mobile Networking, Devices and Systems, Middleware
Software Engineering/Applications Development, Real Time and Embedded Systems, Sensors and Vision, Critical and Technological Theory and Context, Interactive Narrative, Games Theory, Information Architecture
Product and Environmental Design, Image Processing

Applicants will be accepted from both technical and creative backgrounds. Consideration will also be given to mature students with relevant industry experience.
