Educated at Sarah Lawrence College and Rhode Island School of Design, Lauren Klotzman is a young artist, writer, musician, and curator whose work attempts to foil such arbitrary designations. She has worked with the MFAH, Chinati Foundation, and Ballroom Marfa assisting various curatorial, educational, and installation projects and productions. A contributing writer for ARTWRIT.com, she has also published under various pseudonyms in publications probably not worth mentioning here. Current research interests include Post-Minimal humor, the interaction of 'Renegade' Surrealism upon popular anthropology, challenging the masculinist image of Minimalism, and the aesthetics of the Military-Informational Complex.
