Lacie Garnes is a multi-media artist living in Chicago Illinois. Her work references the body and social binaries that are interpreted by use of performance, video and photography. Her recent work provides a feminist critique of the overlap between voyeurism and surveillance. She has shown her work at international and national venues and is a 2005 MFA recipient from the School Of The Art Institute of Chicago. She holds a BFA from Bowling Green State University.
