*** Works with computer since 1987
Her contact with architecture started before going to the university, as her whole family is of architects (mum, dad, uncle, brothers) and her great-grand father was the first graduated architect that came to Brazil, the Swedish art nouveau innovator Carlos Ekman, son of a wooden prefab house manufacturer.

As a teenager, she was introduced at Santa Maria school to drama performance and poetry.
Later at college Santa Cruz, she met a group of people that created different performances As a member of a chorus called "Coletivo", under regency of Hermelino Neder she learned to sing as soprano a very eclectic repertory of music, from church traditional music to rock and samba. They made several traditional presentations on stage along with old ladies chorus, one of them, open to the public at a downtown street, and one really elaborated at the first underground club of São Paulo called Madame Satã. Invited to participate on a theatrical "reading” called "accords”; directed by the controversial director Zé Celso (Teatro Oficina), who played the piano, singing, when the theater was being refurbished. On this environment, she knew many artists, much older then her, and they became friends: Photographers, actors, choreographer, musicians and more, who encouraged her to be interest on art. She started to watch theater and dance spectacles, alternative movies, those people, as a friend of hers said, "who opened the lid of her head". But, meanwhile life brought her in other direction.

She had access first to a “amiga”, a machine used before the personal computers, which was operated with the use of a scientific calculator. In it, she made her first digital drawing. It was a moving image writting the Beatles’ song line "love was such an easy game to play". She was 14 then. Later, she had access to a real personal computer, and this amazed her.

Virtual three dimensions was a complete new world to be explored. At first, she worked in technical drawings with AutoCAD, but soon she became a programmer (first one in Brazil, to work with AutoLisp, programming language used by AutoCad. This small group (her dad, his partner, his nephew and herself) was the first one to use computer to make architecture’s projects, when even university teachers didn’t know about it.

She lectured basic features, 3d modeling, Layout, AutoCAD, developing menus and also AutoLisp (later, the group had become developers). Her work was to find parameters that could work on a specific way, but able to change the values of the elements. Also, she developed the custom files, that were used as a model to all files of the project and for each project she developed routines specifically to make the most automated possible. This way, the user can really achieve the objective, thinking about more important details than to loose energy pressing the same keys.
Later, she also worked on a project called “AutoCAD online”, that was a service of technical drawing and programming assistance by telephone. At 18, she was responsible for the night shift of the office, coordinating the work of seven technicians and lecturing executives at companies like the bank Banco Francês e Brasileiro, Pão de Açúcar supermarket, and others, training users and exploring the wire framed world of three-dimensional virtual space, systems of visual representation, attaching and retrieving data, optimizing and conforming, as one final product from projects made by several individuals and offices, in such a way the final product would be homogeneous. As well as, crossing information between various offices as fireman, calculators, electricians etc, so they could be updated about the coworkers last moves and interactivity (that was much long before internet) For her, it was like her scientific fiction books becoming possible in this virtual dimension. Also, it was an opportunity to create, manipulate, visualize, easily modify and multiply copy, sharing it with other people any thoughts, concepts, ideas, bearing in mind that this program was just a feature, being the aim to draw directly on the computer, to project, simulate, review, adapt, test materials and details, and also to dive in its possibilities.Virtual reality.

She entered with 20 yrs old at the state University of Architecture and Urbanism, FAU-USP, the best one in South America. At this university, she had contact with so many sources of knowledge and, more important, was in contact with people and masters that where interested on similar explorations as hers. This universe taught her not only architecture and urbanism, but also landscape design, history of art, objects design, perspective, scale, typography, litho gravure, graphic design, ergonomics, integral calculation, geometry, researching techniques, history, documentation, statistics, graphic analysis, manipulation on people responses to contrast, colors, shapes, line forces, composition, images chosen, combined subliminal triggers, articles and theory or philosophic production, intentional control of absorbed information without conscience by graphic techniques or other means, control of sensations produced by an environment (shape, lightning, color and elements disposition, sound and more), art itself. There was also a complete equipped workshop for students to produce their projects, semiotics, interaction between spaces and trajectory, landscape, urban interference and urban tessitura, urban planning.
Discussing global environmental issues and problems, which originates her present sea.sound project. Even more so, she forseen alternatives as alternative planets, moon migration, satellite cities, underground and sea extracting and submarine cities, creation of floating platforms cities, alternative energy, critical waste of water and energy and how to reutilize it on industries, etc, capture of chemical residues and reutilize them to other purposes, capture of rain and cleaning rivers, sea and atmosphere, developing alternative techniques to create several points of miniclimatic comfort, environmental preservation laws, understanding and acting with conscience by this architectural perspective. Unfortunately, ideal, purpose and priorities are very different to many people.
She also studied at ECA - USP (state University of Art and Communication), Multimedia and Intermedia, where she developed a technique of generating figurative simple icon images within rotational moiré optical effects.

She has known Jonas Mekas and learned, with him, about art veriteé, to live with art, enjoy the brief magic moments in our quotidian life. She got so impressed by him that decided to change from programmer to artist. She was been introduced to him by Peter Sempel, a German musicmovie maker, and looks forward to work with them in New York and Berlim.

She places herself as experimental poet (environmental poetry, poetry kinetic objects, collaborative poetry, image poems, more), lyrics composer, illustrator, writer, stonecutter, now exploring movie making, having made already four songs in collaboration via Intermedia and two movies also in collaboration. Always focused on interactive works, artist painter, sculptor (wearable rice paper wings, silver feather and others), focused at optical art, kinetic art, Intermedia and Multimedia, collaboration, Xerox art, mail art, matchboxes and little surprise boxes, happenings, performer, dancer (she studied classical ballet, jazz, modern dance and afro dance, always been in the scene, member of the group that started raves in Brazil), designer: graphic interactive objects, interactive jewelry , furniture, optical illusion applied to the most varied objects, she calls her work "Art for Fun" ,
One of her poems was published on a poster of one of Peter Sempel’s music movies, where she appears for some seconds at the movie "Jonas in the Desert", She has recorded her voice for Jonas reading about the Schrödinger’s cat theory, also has been filmed by him with his video cam while he was in São Paulo, she has also been filmed by Loriane Icibaci, pictured by several photographers as Malte Braun (Germany), Peter Sempel (Germany), Claudio Wakahara, Jorge Lepesteur, Ali karakas, Gal Oppido, Bijari Crew, herself, and others. A cartoonist, Adão Iturrusgaray, has named one of his characters kiki, the little sister of Aline, and used her as inspiration for it, at the cartoon published all over the world, Japan, etc., called "Aline and her two husbands".

Her main interests are:

Independent projects of experimentation with innovative appropriation and interactive collaborative multiple combined languages and technology which product may be considered art but its more like a semiotic, intellectual, perception research of time and space, what could be called a "moment".

Also interested about the relation between humanities (art, myths, religion, mythology, para-normality, insanity, other beings) and astrophysics, geometric, genetics, environment, networks, specific knowledge and languages, techniques of representation and developing, parameters, customization, softwares, dimensions, composition of chemical elements, effect of chemical substances, or any other scientific and technological rational theories and explanations of phenomenon, particularly the concept of perception and reality, environment and space, sub conscience, conscience, omniscience, individuality, time and memory.

she had problems related to intermedia, so she spent a while offline. now she is migrating from digital to analogical, as designer and artist, making exclusive boxes and other objects that may be seen on facebook, also as cultural producer and member of colective works on multimedia art and exhibitions with digital mapping, and joining a crew to produce a documentary focused on acessibiliy, and others...
