Judith Kerman is a poet, artist and musician residing in Woodstock, NY. Her experiments with digital poetry in the 1980's resulted in "Ice Fishing," an interactive poem written in BASIC, and "Colloquy," a DOS-based interactive poetry authoring system. Her book-length prose poem, "Mothering," which received Honorable Mention in the 1978 Great Lakes Colleges Association New Writers Award, was also published as a Storyspace hypertext in Eastgate Quarterly Review of Hypertext 2:2. "Fusion Reactor," a soundscape poem was published online in Mad Hatter's Review 12. She is the publisher of Mayapple Press and continues to experiment with artistic crossovers, including soundscape poetry, digital media, and book=mask=book.
