Kenneth Zook
Since 2008

Hi, I'm Kenny Zook. I'm not a professional, but I play one here on the internet. I'm the CXO at Hat Boss Dot Com, LLC. The 'X' in CXO, of course is a variable, insert any letter. Who do you want to talk to? The CFO? Well, I wish that was my accountant, but he has his own business and he tells me that's not how this works. And I trust him, because *he's* a professional. So *I'm* the CFO. Please see my accountant.

I've been making computer art for almost 20 years, and almost everyone who sees my art says, "Wow! How do you do that?" When I tell them it's easy, most people say, "Oh, I could never do that!"

I have three goals. One is to give away as much art as I can. The second is to demystify computer art as much as I can for as many people as I can, because all of what I do is less complicated than it looks. Well, except for astrophotography, maybe. I'm still a beginner at that, and it's pretty complicated, tho' not as complicated as I would have thought. My third goal is to make enough money on the internet to let me pursue it full time, which will give me even more time to make pretty pictures and share the how-to knowledge that goes into them.

I'm 51 years old, and through the years I've evolved from an overfared, longhaired, leaping gnome to an overfared, shorthaired gnome who sits at a desk a lot more often than he leaps. I am known for my joke telling, my creative way of looking at things, and my often earthy ways of expressing my opinion.

I am one of the most open minded people I've ever met, mostly because I'm's not worth the effort to try to change people who are satisfied with the way they are, and it's not my job to judge them, thank God! It also helps that I am comfortable in the belief that leaving someone be is a far cry from approving of them, and I suppose 6 years in the U.S.M.C. long ago has left me fairly more difficult to offend than most.

I prefer to be articulate, but colorful always wins in an either/or choice. I try to be kind and decent, but I am a human, so on occasion I fail and when I do, I'm not an insubstantial jerk. I'm generally quick to forgive, as a result, unless I sense hostile intent. I'm also quick to forgive myself, which makes it easier for me to accept blame that belongs to me. If I were to pick one trait from my entire personality to wish on others, that would be it, because it grants the power to pick up the pieces and move on.
