Katherine Behar is an interdisciplinary artist based in New York. Her installations, performances, and videos mix low and high technologies to portray the condition of living sensuously in digital media. Her recent projects have been presented by UNOACTU in Dresden, the Chicago Cultural Center, De Balie Centre for Culture and Politics in Amsterdam, Interval in Manchester, the Digital Live Art Festival in Leeds, MoKS in Mooste, Estonia, and The National Museum of Art in Cluj-Napoca. Katherine is a collaborator in the performance art group Disorientalism (see: http://www.disorientalism.net ). She is Assistant Professor of New Media in the Department of Fine and Performing Arts at Baruch College.
