The Mapping Festival is getting actively prepared! It will take place in Geneva (CH) from April 10th to 20th.

The Mapping Festival has been promoting VJing and live video mixing for 4 years. As a digital creation laboratory, the festival has won an international reference status in the world of audiovisual arts.

During the 10 days of the festival, you will be able to see multimedia installations, AV performances, lectures, workshops, concerts and clubbing nights, between the Centre of Contemporary Art, the Spoutnik cinema, l’Etage, and the Zoo/Usine.

Hello from the Mapping Festival!

The fourth edition of the Mapping Festival is going to take place from the 10th through the 20th of April, 2008 in Geneva, Switzerland.

We are still waiting for your applications. For this reason we have extended our deadline to January 11th, 2008.

All further practical details are on the form.

Thanks to the past three editions, the Mapping Festival has won a status of reference among an international circle of artists, professionals, academics and the general public.

In the past, the Mapping Festival has acted not just as a springboard for artists and professionals but also as a platform for meeting and exchanging in ideas in the field of video performance and its various satellite disciplines.

For 2008 we want to put the polymorphism explored in the previous years into perspective by favoring experimentation.

We plan to do this through the artistic programming of the festival by putting an emphasis on live performances and audio-visual projects.

Most importantly do not hesitate to spread the word about the Mapping Festival.
