Works in Bristol United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

I have a Masters in Fine Art from the School of Fine Art, University of Wales Institute, Cardiff.
My early life was spent in Wales where I studied as a painter. The Mabinogion, a book of Welsh mythology, affected my early figurative work. I practiced as a painter for several years, exhibiting regularly in Britain also abroad.
A photographic course in 2002 led to my being wholly committed to photographic and digital media.
Earlier, through awards from the Arts Council of Wales and support from the British Council I spent some time in India, had a residency at l’Ecole des Beaux Arts in Aix-en-Provence and exhibited at the University of Brasilia. Other exhibitions in Brazil have been at the University of Caixias do Sul and the University of Campinas.
While in Brazil in 2003 I was grateful to be received as a novitiate into the community of Uniao do Vegetal where, across a period of several weeks, I experienced the teaching plant Ayahuasca.
