Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces a call for entries for the gallery’s 3rd Annual “Abstracts” juried art competition for the month of June 2012. The gallery would like for all 2D artists (including photography) to send us their best interpretation of the theme “Abstracts” by submitting their best non-representational abstract art for inclusion into the gallery’s July 2012 online Group Art Exhibition.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its May 2012 art exhibition “Nature” is now posted on their website and is ready to view online. Artists were asked to interpret the theme “Nature" by depicting the physical world. “Nature” was considered to be anything that was not created by or has been substantially altered by man.

The gallery received submissions from 15 different countries from around the world and they also received entries from 35 different states. Overall, there were 821 entries from 229 different artists that were judged for this art competition.

Congratulations to the artists who have been designated as this month’s category winners, along with the winning Special Recognition artists.

The gallery would like for all 2D artists (including photography) to send us your best interpretation of the theme “Figurative” by depicting the human form or human features. “Figurative” is considered to be figures, forms and faces for inclusion into the gallery’s June 2012 online Group Art Exhibition. We will accept art on this subject that is either representational or abstract, but please, do not submit any erotic art.
