BIO
Jodi Rose is a nomadic artist, writer, cultural producer and creative director of Singing Bridges, an urban sonic sculpture using the cables of bridges as musical instruments on a global scale. Rose creates works adapted to specific locations and concepts as she continues to explore the resonances of physical and metaphorical bridges through meta-nation Welcome to Bridgeland!

Welcome to Bridgeland! is an art-research project in the fields of cultural acoustics, media arts /theory, site-specific intervention, oral history, alternative ethnography and experimental sociology with a documentary-fictional and practical-theoretical approach. The interdisciplinary nature of the process is highlighted through the production and performance of artworks, lectures, theoretical texts and archive-documentary materials.
