BIO
In my work, I see digital narrative structures as something fragile. My work focuses mainly on breaking and rebuilding these structures through different procedures that emerge from the very nature from which these structures are made of. By using several infiltration techniques, which allow me to create interferences within the core of diverse digital platforms, video, sound, image and text, fragment into multiple layers of information, as if we would turn all the ingredients from a baked cake back into its original shape and cook a different one.
My latest works focus on surveillance on the net. By taking it to the digital sphere, surveillance becomes a sort of broadcasting entertainment that I like to call "Interactive Public Surveillance". My pieces focus on the correlation that this opened surveillance systems, carried out by regular net users, establish between the physical spaces that are being recorded and the online communities which watch over them.
I have performed and exhibited my work internationally in venues such as Arts Santa Monica in Barcelona, Picasso Museum in Barcelona, FILE festival in Sao Paulo, FLEFF Ithaca College,(NY) and in many Spanish and Israeli venues.
I have recently graduated from the Pompeu Fabra University with an MFA in Digital Arts and I have recieved a scholarship for research through the department of Audiovisual Communication.
