Jayne Surrena is Philadelphia artist who has graduated from the University of the Arts with a BFA in painting and drawing and MA in Teaching the Visual Arts. She has built her career by both working in the arts and showing her work nationally and worldwide. Jayne began her professional career with Freemans Auction House, America’s oldest Auction House located in Philadelphia; then later with the University City Arts League as Program Coordinator for adult and children art and education programs.

Jayne’s professional art career began in 2006 with Bambi Gallery, Philadelphia together with the cover for the literary magazine Philadelphia Stories. Her edgy collages gained her an invitation to many prestigious opportunities. Jayne has shown her work at Art Basel Miami, on permanent collection in Malaysia, a member of the 1653 Artist collective Gawker Artist, Member of Art house Co-op, featured Ad week artist, November 2011 editors pick for Get Inspired Magazine and bitFUUL Magazine, among many others.
