Jacob Schaeperkoetter-Cochran makes digital and physical works that bridge and blur the gap between them. Ultimately, he hopes his works provide moments of enlightened thought through observation and conversation. His current enrollment at the Pacific Northwest College of Art in no way restricts the work he creates, quiet the opposite, as it is meant to exist exclusively within the walls of the institution. Through various shows, personal experiences, and web-based platforms, Jacob has fostered lasting relations in professional artist communities around the globe. Jacob, and his colleagues of artists and designers, are highly conceptual makers; engaging a viewer, user, or consumer in dualistically complex and simplistic modes of presentation. In June of 2013, Jacob will excitedly embark on his post-graduate life; investigating, theorizing, and creating in response to the invaluable experiences present in contemporary life.
