Iona Pelovska is a filmmaker interested in the aesthetic convergence of technology and corporeality. Her research focuses on the cognitive implications of moving image technologies.

She has published essays on cognition, art and new technologies, and has presented at conferences in Canada and Europe. Her films have been screened at art venues and film festivals in Canada, Bulgaria and the U.S. Her latest works address the problematic of techno-human reflectivity and corporeal fragmentation.
