Gideon Webster, born October 27, 1979 in Aberdeen, Maryland is an artist living and working in Middletown, Rhode Island. He has exhibited work in Baltimore, Providence, Boston and New York. He recently participated in the group show, Welcome Home at Firehouse 13 in Providence, RI. He also recently participated in Trainscape: Installation Art for Model Railroads, exhibit at the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln, Massachusetts. He was a winner of an Award of Excellence, an annual award for outstanding graduate work, while earning his MFA in Digital+Media at RISD. He has taught courses at both Rhode Island School of Design and Brown University in Providence, RI, and is currently teaching 3D Design, Video, Printmaking and Visual Foundations at Saint George’s School in Newport, RI.
