Edith Doron

I have recently completed my doctoral research with the Centre for Modern Thought at University of Aberdeen with a dissertation entitled, 'Education and the Idea of Emancipation: from the monster of philosophy to the political subject and back'. Previous to this, I completed the Masters of Literature in 2008 at CMT as well, entitled, Of Things and Thresholds: Exilic Education, Hospitality and the Practice of Community in Children's Museums. Both of these works are based on the teaching encounters, curatorial events and documentation of community experienced during my time as Cultural Programs Developer and Director of Programs at the BRooklyn Children's Museums and the Long ISland Children's Museum, respectively.
