Repair some public property - make a video

Sat Nov 30, 2013 18:35

Maintenance is still a drag, and it still takes all the fucking time.* It's still important and as each developer closes in our public space and each state employee is furloughed or fired, or made to fill in for every other worker that has been furloughed or fired, we're reminded that this is something we can do ourselves. Further, it's something we must do ourselves. A gesture, and much more than a gesture to say in each still standing object that we care about this space that is still ours.
This is a call for participation and documentation. In what will ultimately become an ever-changing, semi-intelligent, automated video stream that will highlight DIY repairs - public maintenance.
Videos should be in the form of a one shot, unedited high resolution (720) submission ideally less than five minutes. Translate maintenance + repair + public however you see fit.
Submit to:
or email your submission to:

Updates on the project will be emailed frequently with a proposed launch date early 2014.
