Christine graduated from Virginia Wesleyan College in 1992, earning a dual degree in Fine Art and Psychology and then attended Eastern Virginia Medical School, where she earned an M.S. in Art Therapy. She has been teaching art to children for over ten years and was Education Director at Myhelan Cultural Arts Center in Long Valley New Jersey. As an art therapist, Christine has lead workshops for several organizations including Creative Heartwork, an organization that provides healing arts programs for children who have experienced loss and other painful challenges. Christine also provides several workshops for at risk youths in her community and leads a weekly art therapy group for adults with mental retardation. In 2006, she completed a commission for the Women's Cancer Center at Morristown Hospital, Morris Plains, NJ, where she hopes her work will provide a moment of connection and strength.

Christine lives in Virginia with her husband, the artist and instructional designer, Ben Harris, and their three cats: Mango, Little Kitty, and Feather.
