Carrie Noel Richer, Co-Artistic Director of Hole Dance Films, is a dancer / filmmaker. She graduated from Bates College with a B.A. in Dance and Anthropology and currently dances professionally for Contemporary Dance Wyoming under the direction of Babs Case. Carrie’s extensive background in modern dance adds a unique perspective to her film work as does her experience with art direction on film sets. In 2008, Richer finished her M.F.A. in Cinema from San Francisco State University. She has taught 16 m Film, Digital Film and Film History courses at San Francisco State University, n the Oakland Public Schools and through a multitude of outreach projects in Jackson. Carrie was the Festival Director and Filmmaker in Residence for 5 years at the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival where she still handles sponsorships. She was awarded the 2010 Performing Arts Fellowship in Film through the Wyoming Arts Council.
