Lumen Prize Call for Entries

The Lumen Prize Exhibition for digitally-created art, now in its fourth year, has opened its 2015 Call for Entries. Its prize fund of US$11,500 includes prizes for Performance (including a commission for the Welsh National Opera), Creative Still, Creative Coding, and Immersive Environments.

A longlist of 100 works forms the Lumen Online Gallery for open vote for People's Choice Award. Top 25 works from the Lumen Prize Exhibition which travels the world. For information about the Jury Panel, please see

Lumen, a not-for-profit with no institutional backing, charges an entry fee of $45 for two works in order to defray costs.


The Lumen Prize: Digital Art Call for Entries

The Lumen Prize Exhibition, the global award and tour for digitally created art, has opened its third annual call for entries.

This year, there are seven prizes to be won:

Lumen Prize Winner - $3000
Lumen Prize Silver - $1000
Lumen Prize Bronze - $750
Founder’s Prize - $250
People’s Choice Award - $250
Lumen Animate Award - $250
Creative Coding Award - $250

The 25 exhibition works, including the 7 prize winners, will be part of a global exhibition tour that will visit Athens, Cardiff, Amsterdam, NYC and London.

Photo-montage, photo-manipulation, iPad art, iPhoneography, creative coding, interactive installation, glitch art, HTML/CSS art, web based art, animation, moving image, digital collage, app art, digital sculpture, 3D rendering are all eligible… show us what you’ve got.

One entry fee costs US$40 and allows the submission of 2 works.

The Lumen Prize Exhibition - Call for Entries

The Lumen Prize is the world's first digital fine art competition and global tour. We are looking for digitally-created work of exceptional merit which is either 2D, interactive or time-based. Our prize fund is worth US$5250 and 50 winners will go around the world with the exhibition, starting in the UK and moving to the US and Asia.
