Aviva Rahmani has over 40 years experience in cross media and ecological art. Her environmental art activism has restored a dump site to a flourishing wetland system (Ghost Nets) and helped catalyze a USDA expenditure of $500,000 to restore 26 acres of wetlands habitat (Blue Rocks). Rahmani’s Masters is from the California Institute of the Arts. She has taught, lectured, been in residence at many colleges and universities, been shown in over 30 solo and 50 group shows and has been published in books internationally. Her virtual collaborations have included weekly “Virtual Concerts” podcasts (2006-9) with participants from 19 countries.
