Ambreen Hussain is an art consultant and curator, as well as a new media artist specializing in wearable technologies, and interactive installation art.

She graduated with an MFA in Design and Technology at Parsons The New School for Design in 2009.

While at Parsons, she served as the co-curator and master mind behind Parsons first annual Thesis Symposium, and also spent a year as a management researcher for Synthetic Times, a new media art exhibition held in Beijing, China. The exhibition was awarded best exhibition of 2008 in China.

She has also helped manage several art consulting projects with Creative Time, such as JetBlue's Terminal 5 video installation, and also assisted in research development for the 2009 Louisville Public Art Master Plan.

Ambreen's thesis, "Spin on the Waltz" has been reviewed in gadget blogs such as Gizmodiva and She was also involved in the student group that produced 1000 Cell Phones, an interactive installation exhibited at Synthetic Times, Parsons galleries, and Figment '09.
