BIO
During art school I was employed by the New Gallery in Calgary where I started my training as a curator, gallery tech, and arts administrator under Sandra Vida.

I have a certificate in adult ed. and I've taught for Alberta College of Art and Design, Mount Royal University, Epcor Center for the Performing Arts, most recently doing professional development for the Calgary Public and Private school boards’ art teachers.

As my first career was in addictions counselling I've used that as a base to teach art as a therapy, the creative model, in long term care institutions.

I'm a self taught musician, guitar, and have done back up for vocalists, and violinists for over 30 years, this giving me the greatest creative range to work with.
I studied voice, opera, with Maudi Kemper for 2 years.

I've owned a micro 'design and photo-illustration for the web' firm for a number of years. My specialty is fine art aesthetics using Photoshop and Painter optimized and integrated with Dreamweaver, frames as opposed to CSS. Slices rule baby.
