Jack Addis (UK,1989) lives and works in Bristol and graduated in 2010 from Bath School of Art and Design. Jack's work deals with how perception of identity and environment is affected by lifestyle, social conditions and technology. The technological realm is particularly relevant to Jack's recent practice, which uses the new media strategies of databending and glitching to achieve its highly distinctive look. Jack's work with visual glitches is an complete embrace of chaos and lack of control. An exciting visual language, which also explores our current socio-political landscape.
