Kyle Duffield is a Toronto based intermedia artist who is also known to periodically collaborate with Daniele Hopkins. Kyle works in a range of mediums, such as painting, interactive installation, and video. His primary works tend to combine audio, video, and various electronic devices into immersive interactive installations. As a teenager, Kyle was enrolled in the Wexford C.I.'s Special Visual Arts Program and attended the Academy of Realist Art. In 2011, he graduated with honours from Ontario College of Art and Design University with a major in Integrated Media and a minor in Digital and Media Studies. During his studies at OCADU, Kyle was awarded the Sumo Arts and Technology Scholarship (2009) as well as the Integrated Media Faculty Award (2011). Kyle is continuing to work in a variety of mediums and is currently focusing on creating interactive works in the realm of expanded cinema.
