Location:
Manchester, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

In 2011 AND worked in partnership with the British Waterways and The Waterways Trust to pilot an artists residency programme on the Canals of the Northwest of England. This residency will be based on a Canal Boat on the Manchester and Pennine Waterways, Northwest England for approximately four weeks in August and September 2012. Accommodation will be provided on a canal boat for four weeks, full training on boat handling and maintenance will be provided at the beginning of the residency. A route will be mapped out in collaboration with the resident artists and partner organisations.
