Marcy Palmer

Marcy Palmer received her Master of Fine Arts degree from the School of Visual Arts in May of 2001. Her exhibition record includes “Net_Working” at Watershed Media Center in Bristol, England with a simultaneous projection at the “4th International Conference on Modern Technology for Art, Media, and Design” in Bangkok, Thailand (2001), “Mad in Pursuit” at White Columns Gallery (2001), “Alumni Exhibition” at the Tang Teaching Museum (2002), “Professors as Professionals” at Gibbs College, and “Blue Haired” at Case Gallery, Skidmore College (1997). Marcy received the Keck Grant for “Blue Haired” a collaborative installation/ performance with composer Lewis Rosengarten (1996-1997). Her work was recently on view in the exhibition, “Open House: Working in Brooklyn” at the Brooklyn Museum of Art and “Domicile” at the Center on Contemporary Art in Seattle, WA.
