I'm a performing artist working with music and sound, images and objects, times and spaces. I enjoy playing with situations and expectations while juggling notions of success and failure. I identify with the anchoring principles of experimental music, conceptual art and relational aesthetics. Self reliance and phenomenology to be sure. I live on the pleasant cusp of coastal NH and ME, where I help run a small gallery/ performance space called BUOY. I'm curious about the origins and evidences of experiential pleasure, and pleasure's relationship to criticality. I cut my own records on a restored Meissner lathe. For me, there is something wonderful about the smell of gasoline in the fall air. When listening to music on headphones, I prefer to have one thing playing in the left ear and another thing playing in the right.
