Hugh Davies is a practice-based researcher living and working in Melbourne and Tokyo. His interests lay in city-scale games as organisational structures and play as artistic strategies through which to navigate them. Hugh has curated exhibitions, workshops and conference programs across the Digital Humanities, and his writing has been published extensively in books, journals, magazines and exhibition catalogues. He holds a PhD from the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture from Monash University and works as a postdoctoral researcher at RMIT. Hugh is the founding board chair of the Freeplay Independent Games Festival.
