Curt Barker began painting in 1989 while a college student in Paris; the museums of Europe his artistic kindergarten. His work is typically non-representational, but frequently abstract images will emerge. The result is a sort of psychological ink-blot test (only much more colorful) as each viewer sees something different. Case in point, his current project entitled "How's it Hangin'?" invites viewers to vote on which way is up.
