Aaron Finbloom's creative life started on a pretty traditional grounds: writing angst-filled songs as a teenager, drawing comic book figures and singing in a cappella groups. Over the years his musical practice has become slightly more sophisticated and idiosyncratic as it has grown alongside other creative practices. Finbloom started exploring public performance and installation art which fosters an adventuring and somewhat democratic aesthetic. This practice has been changing as well as Finbloom has become interested in creating performative contexts for reflective communication- textual, spoken, visual and interactive. Lately Aaron has been returning to a more visually centered practice that explores incorporating drawings into his performative and musical practice. Working alongside this artistic practice, Aaron is currently enrolled in a Master's program in Philosophy and Arts and SUNY Stony Brook.
