Artist Biography
Bill Hendricks is a Minnesotan but has spent considerable time living both in Los Angeles and New York City. He is a new media artist and his art includes printmaking, photography, video and interactive installations. His art is in the permanent collection of the Frederick R. Weisman Art Museum, Minneapolis and a number of private collections throughout the United States. His work was included last October in a group show titled, The Intimate Gallery, which questioned the existence of a collective consciousness, in Minneapolis at Gallery 148. Recently his work was seen in a show titled, Visual AIDS, Postcards From the Edge in New York City at The Robert Miller Gallery. His work can be seen regularly in and around the Minneapolis and St.Paul area in Minnesota.
Bill teaches Graphic Design and Web Design at Minneapolis Community Technical College (MCTC). Over the last few years, he has completed his MFA that he holds from Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
