This print was made to honor the life, love and friendship of my deceased cat, Diego Rivera. Diego was a very sentient being, and this print is my way of honoring him. I have done this image many times and in many dierent mediums. Repeating this image has been a meditation, offering and prayer to Diego. The Wheel of Life is represented behind the image of Diego. In Buddhist philosophy, all beings are reincarnated over and over again on the Wheel of Life. There are many realms which we go through: the human realm, the realm of the gods, the warrior or demigod realm, the animal realm, the realm of the hungry ghosts and the hell realm. My hope with this piece is that Diego that may evolve to a better place in the Wheel of Life.
