Taking male-centric stereotypes found in video games combined with symbols of institutional power and wealth, Robot Ninja is a cultural conflation of war, authority and the super-human. Using high-end 3D animation software, Robot Ninja combines the past and mythology with elements ripped directly from video games.
Full Description
Robot Ninja takes the form of a two-room solo exhibition at Glasgow's Market Gallery. The piece consists of a CGI animated HD video installation, a series of "wireframe" prints, and a 3D printed sculpture.
