Overture is an examination of prenatal ultrasound images in an online environment. The work questions the ways children are categorized by these images. Overture was shown together in 2012 at XL Art Space, Helsinki, Finland with my earlier work Sparta (2011). Together these works illustrate what it is like to grow up as a cyborg in a mediated environment where everything is shared.
