CLFC (chain-link fence, pedestrians, vehicles) (2011)

CLFC (chain-link fence, pedestrians, vehicles) uses the pattern of a chain-link fence to temporally redistribute the activities of people and vehicles taking place during the morning commute at a busy traffic intersection in lower Manhattan.

The single channel work is comprised of 184 individual video tracks with each track corresponding to a single void in the fence. CLFC is part of a series of work that represents street life as temporally ambiguous and spatially interwoven.
