From digital to analog, from discrete to continuous, from virtual to physical, from poke to touch, from bytes to atoms, from pixels to scribbles. From all that to all this, from the extremes to in betwen, going from one way to another and viceversa, making a postdigital interaction.
Full Description
This project uses drawing as an artistic expression medium to generate a reflection about the gradual merging of the physical interactions with the virtual. The drawings are based on digital photographs from Facebook, either they fulfill the role of virtual representations of people into the social networks or they were acquired through a virtual interaction. These photographs are subtracted from a virtual environment to a physical one and then reinterpreted by a subjective filter (artist) on a physical medium. Finally these new drawings go back to the virtual world.
The handmade drawings act as a symbol of a physical interaction between those involved.
