BLIND (2012)

BLIND is song that is created collaboratively with the listener. Users perform a layer of the music on a virtual instrument so that the resulting song is personal, engaging, and different on each listen.

Full Description

Users perform five guitar loops using a virtual instrument in the browser window. Each loop appears as a circle on an Ishihara test for colorblindness. Once triggered, the loop's color ripples outward filling the canvas and coloring all of the other circles. Users trigger the start and end of the sounds using their keyboard and affect the loop's pan and volume by repositioning the circles on the canvas.
