Artist Statement

Redoing all other Balkan Operas that I did in different places gave me different perspective of understanding the piece and the final act it’s like I concluded what was happening on Balkan not only in the terms of recent history. Balkan beside its natural and cultural beauty has unfortunately that attraction for everyone, so war situation is common, since geographically is a crossroad and controlling Balkan means controlling this part of Europe. This performance is for all the victims who lost their lives and to all the young man whose blood flooded Balkan. This is the last act of this performance and hopefully it will be the last chapter for Balkans wars.
