First and Only Artists Run Art Fair Scheduled to Open at Wyndham Garden Inn, NYC during Armory Art Weekend

New York, NY – February 13, 2012

Theorize New York: Impossible to Understand, 2012 Black March Edition is the first and only artists run intimate art fair in NYC that will open its doors at Wyndham Garden Inn, Chelsea during Armory Art Week from March 8 through March 12, 2012.

Theorize New York: Impossible to Understand was conceptualized and organized by three artists, Eric Ginsburg, David Pollack and Marina Reiter, as a response to the corporate greed model of the “Blue Chip” gallery and art fair system. Theorize New York is an art fair for collectors and artists run by artists.

“We are very excited to be able to bring this new art fair concept to the artist community,” said David Pollack of Theorize New York. “Theorize gives artists the opportunity to present their work to collectors and galleries directly and engage in an open dialogue. It’s all about giving the artists exposure, a chance to be seen and heard.”

Theorize New York: Impossible to Understand, 2012 Black March Edition Contemporary Art Fair will run March 8-11, 2012 at the Wyndham Garden Inn Chelsea located at 37 West 24th Street, New York City, New York 10010. The art fair will be open daily 12pm -10pm with the Grand Opening scheduled for Thursday, March 8th (5pm Exhibition opens; 6pm -10pm Opening Party).
