How do found photographic negatives alter the past? Do these found images simply create a visual reference for history? or does it merely confirm what is already known? A handful of famous photographers have attempted to bury, burn or otherwise hide their negatives. To hide/escape from history. Several of these photographers never lived to see their negatives resurface to much historic fanfare and acclaim. The negatives presented in this piece have survived underground only to resurface years later- many of which went on to serve a great purpose when recovered.
