Pixelates (2011- Interactive Software - Variable size)
Pixelated is an interactive software that contains a serie of digital images created within it. Here the pixel is defined as the smallest homogeneous unit of color that compose an image. The pixel is the prevailing aesthetic element, from which develops both the formal and conceptual part of the images. Each image has a specific narrative that uses certain aspects of the language of comic and cartoon and where I introduce the Pixelates, anthropomorphic characters who protagonists these little narratives or stories that deal with topics such as love, sex, art, popular culture, among others. Pixelates operate at the same time as an editor of digital images or pictures and as a gallery, where the user has the possibility of being both spectator and creator if he wishes ti be.
