These characters, blue skin humanoid, are, in this video, out from their original universe (comics, manga, movies, cartoons, video games). Figure of the strange, half-human, half-other (animal, alien, robot ..), they represent, in their respective fiction, alterity.

Out of their world, put in a same fiction, they form a kind of community of hybrid creatures, absurd and orphans who are constantly transform, self-perpetuating. Always and never the same, they reject these changes and proclaim, with same voice, all originals, all claiming to be the only true blue man.

This video is itself a pastiche, borrowing the codes for different video circulating on the internet including the famous «Message to scientology» of Anonymous or «Women in Art» by Philip Scott Johnson.

By mixing codes and references, the idea is to question the unique and original but also difference and otherness. I collected the images of blue ...
