I create life sized figurative pieces using moulds made from casts of my own body. I fill these moulds from found natural materials such as leaves and grasses charcoal and ash. The sculptures investigate the relationship between myself and my environment as all the materials are linked to myself through the action of finding or the place in which they are found is significant to my life. They also investigate the aesthetics of the female form by exploring posture. The pieces explore life cycles through exploration of its different stages, life, death rebirth.
