An unknown being has been discovered. Our understanding of it is incomprehensible but we are aware of its existence. How do we as an individual, a culture, a globe reconcile with the understanding of it’s existence of unknown potential?

“I remember hearing this hum that just wouldn’t go away. As I figured out where it was coming from, I realized it was from inside some sort of shipping container. There was something inside it, something that appeared to be glowing. I got closer to the door as the humming got louder. As I walked into the container and realized something was looking me, it hit me that I just got myself way in over my head. ”
How did this unknown being get inside a shipping container? Where did the shipping container come from? What is the unknown being? As participants begin to question the context of the piece, the narrative world opens into a rich meta-narrative enriching the experience in anticipation for Scotiabank Nuit Blanche 2010.
