DAHRA Collaboration (2010)

DAHRA invited me to collaborate on the project "Designers Against Human Rights Abuse". In these times, society and the world at large seem to be ruled primarily by suffering, fear, and pain. Although we are living an age of freedom, when we more deeply explore the layers of our reality we discover complex human suffering. My artwork represents how pain, repression, and censure cause the persistence of this negativity. But, despite all the evil that surrounds us, I also feel that it is always possible for hope to emerge in the face of such suffering.
