A Message To Be Found is a joint creation with Olle Essvik.

Instead of writing an email or sending a text that will arrive instantaneously, the website allows you to send a postcard that won't arrive until you want it to. Perhaps you want to remind yourself of something in five years time or make a prediction for the world to read in ten years time? Write a postcard, upload an image and select the keywords you want search engines to index.

Fifteen years ago a postcard might have been the most inane writing one would undertake, second only to scribbling on the bathroom wall. Both were exercises that took little time and effort to execute, and if time and effort correlates to some sort of "quality," it surprises no-one that the vapid microblogging so many are participating in today - "I like food!" - takes so little effort that it seems more difficult not to do it.

Our project is not the a romantic notion nor is it a luddite strategy. Innocence lost is knowledge gained, and there are no backsies. It's an practical experiment to help you answer a question: What has the annihilation of time turned you into?
