Conceptually indebted to Douglas Gordon, Chris Bors created 24 Second Psycho, an re-envisioning of Hitchcock's classic thriller to fit our general contemporary sense of temporality and attention. 24 SECOND PSYCHO REHYDRATED is an attempt to re-appropriate the appropriated. In this rehydration, the digital scars of repackaging are evident; and yet, the piece functions as an oneiric stupor, in which scene pacing is maintained but with gaping holes filled by the slowest of dissolves.
